Ivo Burum is an Australia based journalist, author and award-winning television producer. He has more than 30 years of experience producing in excess of 2500 hours of prime time programing across genres. This includes frontline international current affairs series, such as Foreign Correspondent and, as executive producer, more than 550 hours of nightly fast turn around public affairs TV.

A pioneer in mobile journalism, Ivo has taught mojo to investigative journalists from Syria, Yemin, Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia, Iraq, Timor-Leste and Myanmar. Ivo runs Burum Media, a mojo and web TV consultancy that provides training to journalists from some of the world’s leading media companies and citizen journalists in remote marginalized communities. Dr Burum is coordinator and lecturer of Media Industries at La Trobe University in Australia. He is the co-author of Mojo – the mobile journalism handbook; his latest book is Democratising Media Through Mobile Journalism - The Mojo Revolution.
